INTEGRATIVE APPROACH

Nothing is expected of you in a session, except to know that you want to work toward health, be honest with yourself and be committed to change. We work with each client’s comfort level and coping style to identify and remover the psychological blocks and facilitate the best strategy for improving wellbeing by balancing thoughts, emotions, bodily-felt sensations and behavioral patterns. The integration of body/mind/emotions creates a personal and natural source of healing and helps you feel more satisfied in your life, both with yourself and those around you. An individual session might look like a typical “talk” psychotherapy session, with gentle attention to your body sensations and feelings. We might ask you to “check in” and see what you are feeling as you speak, in order for you to discover what is truly happening for you in the moment. We will plan and support a course of concrete actions most likely to lead you to a life that reflects who you truly are.
